Upstate Program Manager, Margie Greenfield, Attends American Telemedicine Association Nexus Conference

This week, Margie Greenfield, Program Manager in the IMT Healthcare Information Systems department is attending the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Nexus conference. The #ATANexus conference will explore new phases of virtual care – examining new realities, highlighting the lessons learned and sharing actionable insights and use cases, while convening the changemakers and front-line providers who are defining the ‘new normal’ for tech-enabled care.

The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to safe, affordable, and appropriate care when and where they need it, enabling the system to do more good for more people. The ATA represents a broad and inclusive member network of leading healthcare delivery systems, academic institutions, technology solution providers and payers, as well as partner organizations and alliances, working to advance industry adoption of telehealth, promote responsible policy, advocate for government and market normalization, and provide education and resources to help integrate virtual care into emerging value-based delivery models.

Upstate is a proud member of the ATA, which gives our telemedicine champions access to education and resources, reports and white papers, member-led webinars, and e-learning courses, as well as access to Federal and State policymakers and influencers, and regulatory and policy intelligence including insights into potential changes and pending decisions.
