The Runaway and Homeless Emergency Youth Shelter for LGBTQ+ adolescents—a joint effort between the Rescue Mission Alliance, ACR Health and McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center—was Upstate's Your Cause charity for 2020 (which was extended through 2021 due to the pandemic).

Cheyenne Fasce, a registered nurse who has worked in acute and chronic adult and pediatric dialysis will receive the Carol Mattix Award, honoring an individual who has made significant contributions to the care of dialysis patients.
