Hospital cafeteria celebrates 50 years with 'throwback Thursday' deals
"Throwback Thursday" specials will be featured in the cafeterias at Upstate University Hospital this year, as both hospital campuses celebrate their 50th anniversaries.
The downtown hospital opened its doors to patients in the late summer 1964. In September of that year, Community General Hospital was born of the merger of Community and Syracuse General hospitals. In 2011, Upstate acquired Community General.
