Paramedic/author speaks about Sept. 11 attacks

Paramedic Steve Kanarian speaks about the book he wrote about his experiences after the Sept. 11 terror attacks at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7 at Upstate's HealthLink location, 6333 State Route 298 in East Syracuse. His talk is free and open to the public. Just register ahead of time by emailing [email protected]

Kanarian's book is called "The Downwind Walk: A USAR Paramedic's Experiences After the Terrorist Attacks." He also writes a blog by the same name. USAR stands for Urban Search and Rescue.
