Don't let those clouds scare you, it's going to be another fun day at the Great New York State Fair today!  It's the second of two Senior Days, where Seniors get in free.

The Upstate booth, in the Science and Industry building, has special programming all day just for Seniors! Here's what you'll find in the booth today:

• The Doctor is In- 11 AM.  Dr. Jamie Ciaccio, director of the Emergency Department at the Upstate Community Campus will be on call to answer your questions about urgent and emergency care.  He will also give an update on GEM Care, one of the newest services at the Community Campus, just for seniors.


• Heart and Vascular Center – FREE blood pressure checks from our nursing staff will be available all day!


• Orthopedics - Learn about OrthoNOW! that provides pediatric and adult immediate care for sprains, breaks, dislocations, and sports injuries. No appointments are necessary.


• GEM Care - Upstate‘s new Senior Emergency Department located on the Community Campus will be on hand to talk about urgent vs. emergency conditions, and more! Check out this recent Healthlink On Air interview about this new service.

So grab an umbrella just in case... and see you at the fair!
