Steel starts rising for Upstate Cancer Center

This week, the Upstate Cancer Center construction entered phase two as more than 550 tons of steel began to arrive on the Upstate campus. The placement of steel will continue over the summer. Leslie Kohman, MD, medical director, Upstate Cancer Center, Paul Seale, chief operating officer, Upstate University Hospital, and Rob Noble, project superintendent, LeChase Construction, were on hand for media interviews today. The $50 million center is slated to open Fall 2013.
