Help Upstate University Hospital reduce the cost of blood units it purchases throughout the year by donating blood Thursday or Friday, Jan. 12 or 13 at the hospital. Dunkin Donuts is rewarding donors with a free pound of coffee. Donors will also receive an entry to win a "Warm and Cozy Movie Night Basket."

The blood drive takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the second floor cafeteria. Call Brenda Clarke at 464-5738 or email her at [email protected] to make an appointment.

Anytime you give blood, you can help Upstate patients by registering in advance and selecting "SUNY Upstate Medical" from the drop-down menu. The cost of blood units the hospital purchases for patient care is reduced when the hospital meets donation goals each year.
