See the photos from Shine a Light on Lung Cancer Vigil
Glow sticks and candles were used to Shine a Light on Lung Cancer during the vigil at dusk Tuesday, Nov. 1 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. About 75 people gathered outside the front of the hospital on Adams Street, lighting luminaries in honor and memory of loved ones affected by lung cancer. Upstate photographer Rich Whelsky shot pictures.
People all over the country raised awareness about lung cancer by supporting the vigil, organized through the Lung Cancer Alliance.
