Wellness Programs and Initiatives

Pathway to Wellness programming through Upstate Well focuses on these pillars of wellness: social, physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual.

Pathway to Wellness is meant to provide a platform that offers the Upstate community (employees and learners) opportunities to fulfil their wellness journey. Please also refer to the weekly announcements posted through Upstate Announcements, the Wellness Events Calendar, and flyers delivered monthly to each department for additional programming information, wellness initiatives, events and resources.

Please contact Christine Podolak, Wellness Program Coordinator, with any questions.

Current Programs & Initiatives

Wellness Speaks: 10 @10

The Wellness Speaks: 10@10 program provides a virtual platform for experts to speak about important wellness topics with the Upstate community. You are invited to tune in monthly in order to

  1. increase awareness and understanding about important wellness topics, and
  2. to learn strategies for improving one’s own health and sense of well-being.

Healthy Salad Bowl Luncheon

A "Healthy Salad Bowl Luncheon" is an easy way to organize a luncheon for a small or large group of people. Employees who want to participate are encouraged to bring an ingredient for a salad bar. Scheduled on a weekly or monthly basis, these are great ways to skip the fast foot lunch and have a healthy inexpensive lunch with co-workers. Here is a guide to planning your own Healthy Salad Bowl Luncheon .
