Kidney Stone Program

Upstate Urology’s Kidney Stone program is a multidisciplinary team focused on evaluating, treating and preventing kidney stones. This team includes urologists who are fellowship-trained endourologists involved in cutting edge research.

Our program utilizes minimally invasive, state-of-the-art technology for the evaluation and management of kidney stones. This includes all aspects of surgical treatment for stones—from the basic to the most complex stone disease including shockwave lithotripsy (SWL), ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, robotic surgery and laparoscopic surgery.

Our multidisciplinary approach allows for each patient to be evaluated for an individualized treatment plan, specific to each patient’s needs.
