Genevieve is Upstate University Hospital's first Trauma Nurse Navigator. She will be providing psychosocial resources for all of our trauma and burn population. She will have an active role in the Trauma Survivor's Network.

 

She started out as RN here at Upstate in 2020 on the Surgical-Trauma Intensive Care Unit where she was also trained in the Burn ICU. Her passion for working with trauma patients continued to grow with her recent work at Albany Medical Center, ACS verified level 1 Trauma Center, in their Surgical-Trauma and Neuro ICU. Through all her work she has cared for some of the most critically injured patients in NYS.

 

She received her BSN from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2020. She is an active member of the Society of Trauma Nurses and American Trauma Society.
