- Do not drive ATVs on paved roads
- Do not allow a child under 16 to drive or ride an adult ATV
- Do not drive ATVs with a passenger or ride as a passenger
- Always wear a helmet and other protective gear (eye protection, boots, gloves, long pants and long-sleeved shirt)

Pedestrian Safety Tips
- Be more visible when walking at night (carry a flashlight & wear reflective clothing or vests)
- Cross streets at a designated crosswalk or intersection
- Walk on a sidewalk or path instead of the road
- If you must walk on the road, walk on the shoulder facing traffic
- Avoid distractions (earbuds, texting, etc.)
- Avoid things that impair judgement or coordination (drugs or alcohol)
