In this project we compare micro-tomographic images of oral cancer model in mice obtained using conventional micro-CT (microCAT II in this core laboratory) and a novel ultrafast laser-based x-ray micro-CT located at Advanced Laser Light Source [ALLS] Laboratory, Institut National de la Recherché Scientifique [INRS], Université du Québec, Canada, in collaboration with Dr. Jean-Claude Kieffer.
Dr. Edward Shillitoe, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, SUNY Upstate Medical University developed the oral cancer model used in this study.
