HRSA directs programs that improve the Nation's health by expanding access to comprehensive, quality health care for all Americans.

Through its four key program areas, HRSA works to improve and extend life for people living with chronic illness (HIV/AIDS), provides primary health care to the medically underserved population, provides state programs for women and children, State programs, and trains health workforces to serve in underserved communities.
