About the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs

The purpose of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is to advance the training of postdoctoral appointees for career development as scientific professionals.

A postdoctoral appointment as defined by the College of Graduate Studies at SUNY Upstate Medical University is an individual who has received a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate and is now in research training in preparation for a career in academics or industry.
