A talented postdoctoral population is crucial to the success of a university's biomedical research mission. This office has been established to serve as a primary resource for our postdoctoral community and to ensure Upstate's continued success in developing treatments to improve human health.
Postdoctoral appointees are often the most productive element of a research laboratory. In addition to their bench productivity, they take on important training and lab management responsibilities. Through daily interactions with graduate students and faculty, they bring new scientific experience, creativity and enthusiasm into the laboratory environment.
A strong postdoctoral community is a superb indicator of a vibrant research program, and we have both here at Upstate. I invite you to explore our expanding research enterprise and the many opportunities and resources available to our postdoctoral appointees.
