Register for 25th Annual Toxicology Teaching Day
SYRACUSE - The 25th annual Toxicology Teaching Day is coming up on November 3rd. Once again, this year will be virtual for everyone's safety. All you need to do is register for the event online, log-on and prepare to learn how to care for the poisoned patient.
Each year around 100 physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other health care providers who routinely care for poisoned patients attend the daylong event. This specially designed program is intended to provide extensive, high-quality, up-to-date information required for the management of toxicologic health problems.
Speakers' topics this year include: a discussion on drug induced toxicities due to emerging toxins in 2021, marijuana ingestions or other exposures particularly in children, newer antidotal therapeutic options in the care of the poisoned patients especially with regard to acetaminophen poisoning. Plus, our popular 'Escape from the Tox Room' exercise.
