Family Brain Injury Support Group
Providing care for a family member with brain injury can be an intense and emotionally draining experience. Oftentimes, support systems are stretched to their limits. In an effort to address family needs therapists in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are facilitating a monthly support group where care givers of persons with brain injury can come together to offer one another support and strategies for caring for their loved one. Additionally, we will arrange for speakers on topics relevant to the group.
