PGY-4

In this final year you will have the opportunity to fill in the gaps of your physiatry knowledge by directing the care needs of an IRF in a community hospital setting. You will also hone your leadership skills as the clinical chief responsible for the schedule of several of the outpatient clinics.

Importantly, you will have more independence performing procedures including joint injections, ultrasound, EMGs, botulinum toxin injections, etc. You will be responsible for supervising the junior resident on the outpatient and SCI services at the VA.

2 months	Spinal cord injury unit at the VA
2 months	Clinical Chief, Elective
2 months	Inpatient rehabilitation facility at the VA
2 months	Brain injury outpatient clinic
