Meghdad received his B.Sc. and M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering. He joined the Auerbach Lab in March 2022 as a research student at SUNY Upstate Medical University. His main research interests include statistical signal processing and modeling of biomedical signals. His current research projects in the Auerbach Lab include ECG-derived respiration, ECG analysis and filtering, and machine learning techniques with applications in human-machine interfaces.

Meghdad desires to gain more experience and knowledge in biomedical science. He believes that the combination of electronic engineering and biomedical science makes him a qualified researcher in multidisciplinary biomedical fields.
