Resident didactics are held every Friday morning from 7:30 am until noon. During this protected education time, residents participate in a variety of educational conferences.

Residents have protected education time every Friday morning from 7:30am-12:30pm. 

From 7:30-9:30, Faculty and Fellows join the residents for a variety of sessions: 

• Grand Rounds 
• Morbidity & Mortality
• GYN Preop List Discussion
• OB High Risk List Discussion
• Practice-Based Learning & Improvement 

From 10-noon, residents have a variety of education sessions organized around adult learning principles, incorporating a combination of faculty-led teaching and resident-led learning. Longitudinal themes includes: 

• Evidenced based medicine curriculum/Critical evaluation of medical literature 
• Simulation 
• Research & QI curriculum 
• Faculty-led subspecialty lectures
