Inpatient Medicine, Surgery and Orthopedics
The inpatient medical and surgical units are located on 3 West, 4 North and the 6th floor at our Community campus. The units are comprised of over 64 beds with both private and semi-private rooms. Patients are typically admitted from the emergency department, operating room, physician office or the ICU.
Our teams provide care to patients with various and multiple complex diagnoses including ENT concerns, CAD, atrial fibrillation, Diabetes, and stroke. 3 West offers telemetry services to patients that are in need of extra monitoring. Each unit has their own Clinical Nurse Educator. In addition, the 6th floor offers specialized care to orthopedic patients and post-op bariatric surgery patients.
Our Educators help develop, coordinate, and facilitate orientation of new staff, in-services, and continuing educational needs of all employees. All units are committed to providing the highest quality care in an environment that respects the dignity of each patient, nurse, physician, volunteer, visitor and fellow employees. Our commitment to excellence is our way of life and we invite RNs who demonstrate a willingness to exemplify our values to join our team.
Collaborative Patient Care
All units collaborate with case managers, physicians, and other ancillary staff to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. Rounding is patient centered and based on our Innovative Care model.
