Team Upstate:
Thank you so much for making this year's annual celebration of the medical staff a great success.
We had over 160 attendees, the weather cooperated, the food was delicious, the drinks were cold, and Upstate folks clearly enjoy a good raffle.
The best feedback I have had thus far, "I met and spoke to people who I see all the time but have never had the chance to socialize with."
As I walked around the venue I heard a great deal of discussion, most NOT about work, this is a good thing and was the intent.
Finally, my sincere thanks to all the Chairs and Chiefs who attended and motivated their colleagues and trainees to attend with them. You made a big difference.
The MEC recognizes and appreciates what every member of the medical staff and house staff do for this community, and each other, every day, even when it is difficult.
