  • HONORING THOSE WHO GAVE: Upstate students, from left, Tariq Martin, Safa Nadeem, Dante Whitmire and Stevie Tchako-Tchokouassi, participate in the Anatomical Gift Program memorial service April 26 recognizing more than 200 individuals who donated their bodies to further medical education. More than 500 friends and family members filled Hendricks Chapel for the service.

  • DONOR APPRECIATION: As part of April’s Donate Life Month, the Upstate Transplant Center held its Third Annual Living Donor Appreciation Luncheon at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Syracuse. More than 100 people attended, including 25 kidney donors who were honored for giving of themselves to improve the lives of others.
