  • ON THE ROAD AGAIN: Upstate's Mobile Mammography Van starts hitting the road again July 6 to offer mammograms across Central and Northern New York. This spring, the van was pulled into service as a temporary office for staff providing covid-19 testing in several Central New York communities. After a thorough cleaning and disinfection process, the van will resume offering mammogram screenings throughout the region.   • CUOMO BRIEFING AT UPSTATE: The large conference/classroom on the fourth floor of the Academic Building on the Upstate Medical University campus was once again transformed into the governor’s daily COVID-19 press briefing room. Andrew Cuomo has held his daily COVID-19 briefings at Upstate on May 14 and April 28. In his Thursday briefing, Cuomo announced that the Central New York region can begin a phased reopening May 15, having met the state’s reopening metrics.
