Community Giving Campaign reaches halfway mark
The Upstate Community Giving Campaign has reached the halfway mark and campaign leaders are letting the campus community know there’s still more time to participate.
The campaign launched Sept. 27 and so far more than 1,100 employees—including 276 new donors— have contributed to the campaign that benefits the United Way of CNY and SEFA charities, but also funds by the Advocates for Upstate, Upstate Alumni funds and Upstate Foundation.
“There is no shortage of need in our community,” said Campaign Director Zanette Howe. “The halfway mark is a perfect time to encourage giving as there is certainly more time to make a gift to benefit an amazing agency or Upstate fund to make a difference for someone in our community.”
A complete listing of all donors to the current campaign as of Nov. 10, can be found here: https://www.upstate.edu/communitygiving/pdf/2023-mid-season-report.pdf
