Community Giving Campaign enters final weeks

Upstate Medical University’s Community Giving Campaign is in its closing weeks and campaign leaders are making the case for giving in the final weeks.

The campaign launched Sept. 19 and so far more than 1,000 employees have contributed to the campaign, which not only benefits the United Way of CNY and SEFA charities, but supports funds by the Advocates for Upstate, Upstate Alumni funds and Upstate Foundation.

“There is still time to contribute to benefit these local agencies and Upstate’s important funds that provide vital support to those in need,” said Campaign Director Zanette Howe. “I’m grateful to all those who have supported this campaign to date. Even the smallest gift can make a difference to someone in our community.”

This year the campaign attracted 248 new donors, individuals who had not participated in the campaign previously.

A complete listing of all donors to the current campaign as of Nov. 2, can be found here: https://www.upstate.edu/communitygiving/pdf/mid-campaign-report-11-2-22.pdf
