Upstate Foundation creates fund to support front-line workers

The Upstate Foundation has created a new Upstate Employees Support Fund for front-line employees that the public may contribute to during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fund will support Upstate nurses and environmental services employees and will be used to purchase gift cards for food and provide payments to pay for elder or child care.

“We want to support our employees during this difficult and challenging time,” said Upstate Vice President for Development Eileen Pezzi, MPA. “By contributing to this fund, the Upstate community and the greater Central New York community can provide direct support to those working on the front lines of this pandemic. Any and all support is helpful to putting minds at ease so they can focus on their important work for the community.”

Donations can be made online at www.upstatefoundation.org/CareforCaregiver or made payable via check or money order to The Upstate Foundation and mailed to The Upstate Foundation, 750 E. Adams St. CAB326, Syracuse, NY 13210.
