Hundreds attended the Upstate Cancer Center's National Cancer Survivor Day event June 12. It was the 20th annual gathering of cancer survivors hosted by Upstate, and this year it was celebrated at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park. Open to cancer survivors, their families and friends, the event featured animal demonstrations, a picnic dinner and face painting.
