Upstate University Hospital trauma surgeon Fahd Ali, MD, speaks at motorcyclist safety awareness press conference, urging motorcyclists to wear helmets at all times, as motorcycle crashes are 37 times more lethal than automobile crashes. Onondaga County officials, who also participated in the event, reported that helmet usage for motorcyclists is on the decline. Officials reminded all motorists and motorcyclists to make roadways safer, especially as the summertime driving season is upon us.
