SUNY Upstate seeks smoke-free campus by August 2005

SUNY Upstate Medical University President Gregory L. Eastwood, M.D., has set the goal of having a completely smoke-free environment at SUNY Upstate - no smoking within the buildings or on the grounds owned or leased by SUNY Upstate - beginning Aug. 1, 2005.

Gambino named acting director of payroll services at SUNY Upstate

Tracy Gambino of Syracuse has been named acting director of the Department of Payroll Services at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Prior to her appointment to Payroll Services, Gambino served as an auditor in SUNY Upstate's Department of Internal Audit.
