Artwork by Maureen Barcza of Syracuse, supervisor of the electromicropscopy laboratory at SUNY Upstate Medical University, will be featured through Feb. 2 in SUNY Upstate's Health Sciences Library Art Program. Barcza's work is on display in the Health Sciences Library in Weiskotten Hall.


SUNY Upstate's Lyn Stevens wins AIDS care nursing honor

Lyn Stevens, a nurse practitioner at SUNY Upstate Medical University, has received the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC) President's Award. Stevens received the award for her outstanding service as an ANAC committee chair and for demonstrating exceptional leadership in accomplishing committee work and dedication to the mission and goals of the association.


Kellman named chair of University Medical Associates at Syracuse

Robert Kellman, M.D., has been named chair of University Medical Associates at Syracuse Inc. (UMAS) and the Governing Board of the Faculty Practice Plan, College of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Kellman, professor and chair of SUNY Upstate's Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences, succeeds Frederick Davey, M.D., who recently retired from SUNY Upstate.
