Community Campus Primary Care Grand Rounds will be held Oct. 23 and 30, and Nov. 6 and 13 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Up to 20 individuals will be permitted in Classroom A/B at Community. Clinician Peer Support Program of CNY to host training Oct. 29
The Clinician Peer Support Program of Central New York (formerly MIPS-CNY) and the P2P Peer Support Program, offered through the Medical Society of the State of New York, will host a training session Oct. 29 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. via Zoom. Jo Shapiro, MD, FACS, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, developed and will facilitate the training geared toward physicians, nurses, physician assistants, residents and fellows who are good, kind and empathetic listeners and interested in helping their colleagues. Easy for You, Upstate’s tobacco treatment program, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in 7335B of the west wing at Upstate University Hospital. Those with an Upstate ID are welcome to receive help quitting tobacco, chew, and vape. Free nicotine replacement therapy is available.
