If You Have Questions or After Hours Emergencies

Because of their operating schedule, your surgeon may not be availible to speak with you immediately. When you call with a question or need information, our experienced practitioners, nurses, physician assistants and medical assistants will be able to answer many of your questions. If your questions can only be addressed by your neurosurgeon, then your message will be relayed your surgeon. Please keep in mind that this can take time; your surgeon may be operating on another patient or conducting research in the labratory. Our office staff will follow-up with you once your surgeon has read your message.

Emergencies & Calls After Hours

If you have an emergency situation after regular office hours, we have neurosurgeons on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For physicians at the Upstate office, call 315-464-4470. You will be reach to our answering service. The answering service will contact a physician if it's determined that your call needs immediate action. Please keep in mind that the physician on-call may not be your regular physician. They may need to ask some detailed questions in order to provide you with the best care.
