Profile:
I joined the PhD program at Upstate in 2023, with a background in medical laboratory science. I joined the lab of Dr. Peter Calvert, and I think there are a lot of exciting things that can be done in this lab. The overall focus of the Calvert Lab is to study the dynamics and mechanisms of localization of proteins in live retinal photoreceptors and other ciliated cells. I believe that if a PhD is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. In my free time, I like to play soccer, table tennis, go to the movies, and listen to music.
