Profile:
I completed my medical studies at Wuhan University School of Medicine and pursued a postgraduate (PG) degree in Neurosurgery at the same university, collaborating with the Department of Neurosurgery at Hua Shan Hospital of Fudan University.
Currently, I am working towards my PhD in Neuroscience under the mentorship of Professor Wei-Dong Yao in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. My research focuses on investigating the role of CYLD variants in the pathogenesis of Frontotemporal Dementia. Specifically, my project delves into CYLD mutations that cause FTD-related deficits, aiming to uncover their underlying mechanisms and validate mouse results in human cell and tissue models.
On a personal note, I am grateful for the support of my parents and siblings, feeling fortunate to have a supportive husband and two beautiful girls in my life.
