When Dr. Mejico came in the room, I instantly thought of Mr. Rogers (from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood). He had the same demeaner, very kind and caring. He listened to all my concerns and accurately recorded the answers I gave to his questions. I appreciated how he had the computer screen facing both of us and that he looked at me when I spoke. As we looked at my MRIs, he explained everything to me in a way I could understand. He spoke to me as if I were an intelligent person who could understand my health issue. He took time to get to know me as a person, asking about my career, and finding things in common. He had a great sense of humor and put me at ease. I'm impressed with his communication skills and trust his medical knowledge.

Dr. Mejico is one of the best practitioners I have dealt with in this six-year medical odyssey around the nation. He is caring considerate willing to listen and willing to discuss new treatments and protocols.

Mejico has been my provider for a complicated medical hx for 16 yrs now. I would recommend him due to his medical knowledge and his bedside manner. I only hope that his medical students know what an honor it is to have someone like him to learn from. The doctor took his time explaining to me what the next steps might be should we have to change medications.

I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Mejico - he is always very thorough, knowledgeable, and if he needs to consults with others. My blood pressure was very high and was very concerned that I get it checked that day. Luckily; my brother in law, Dr. Carhart was upstairs - he emailed him w/ his concerns (with my consent) and was able to see him.

Normally the doctor goes over my test results with me. This time he went over them in the room next door to me with his gaggle of students, then came in and wanted to just shoot the breeze with me. I asked questions that made him go over the results. After all I had gone through to get those tests done before seeing him, I wanted to see for myself what the results were, not just take his word for it.

It was so great to see Dr.Mejico. He has taking care of me for years...I am doing so good with my vestibular migraine/vertigo....and he is a big part of my life

Dr. Mejico is equal to the doctor I had in New York City for back problems. I am disappointed that there is no higher score. Dr. Mejico is the best of the best (and I've seen a LOT of neurologists in my life!) Please don't let him retire. I probably won't last for another 35 years, so after that would be okay.

he isnt open to treatment with medical marijuana which has helped my symptoms. he is the head of this dept and should be looking into this. he doesnt really care about the symptoms we deal with every day and just says we will see you in 6 months.

When this provider heard that I was concerned about getting to work on time, he did everything in a timely manner so that I could get done quickly which was much appreciated. I really liked this provider. Now, ask me about the stroke clinic and I will have far different answers.......

Dr. Mejico is the finest, kindest, most concerned, most intelligent, most informed and helpful doctor I have ever had. He is current with the latest information on my condition. He explains any new breakthroughs and information about my never ending vertigo, keeping me up to date on new information and technology that will help me maintain a level of "normalcy."
