Upstate Medical University MSCHE Self-Study Steering Committee Charge & Membership
Overview:
The Steering Committee is responsible for overseeing the decennial Self-Study process in preparation for the site visit by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
Charge:
- Determine the key issues for Self-Study from the MSCHE Standards and Upstate Mission
- Approve a Self-Study Design
- Monitor progress of Working Groups
- Promote communication plan with Upstate community, including an institutional-wide review of the draft Self-Study
- Arrange for institution-wide review of and response to draft Self-Study
- Approve the final Self-Study Report
- Participate in visits by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education liaison, the team Chair, and the Evaluation Team.
Meeting Schedule: Group will meet approximately every two months.
