Student Profile:
I graduated from UC Berkeley, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in chemistry. At SUNY Upstate, I look forward to expanding my knowledge of biochemistry and pharmacology in the lab while learning the principles of medicine in the classroom and clinics. I have completed my first rotation in Dr. Alaji Bah's lab, which specializes in liquid-liquid phase separation, intrinsically disordered proteins, and multidimensional NMR. As a SoCal native, I have enjoyed exploring this new part of the country, especially the forests and lakes. I am excited to spend more time hiking, backpacking, climbing, skiing, and foraging my way through the natural world of upstate NY. I love experimenting in the kitchen as much as in the lab!
