Student Profile:
As an undergrad at Caldwell University, I had the opportunity of studying DNA damage repair proteins as biomarkers for prediction of cancer treatment response at MD Anderson. This experience ignited my passion for the intersection of medicine and research, propelling me towards a career as a physician-scientist. After graduating in 2021, I moved to California to work in the Okada lab at UCSF which studied targeted immunotherapy for glioma. Beyond my academic pursuits, I enjoy making music, playing soccer and exploring the outdoors.
