AI, or artificial intelligence, is offering ways to fill the gaps in mental health care, but not without ethical and clinical concerns. Bioethicist Serife Tekin, PhD, describes how an AI app can be used in psychotherapy and shares her concerns about the promise of AI in mental health care. She is an associate professor of bioethics and humanities at Upstate.
