[00:00:00] Marie Jerge discovered her love of poetry after retiring from serving as a Lutheran pastor and bishop. Her poem "Small World" assures us that even when our healing insists on our being confined or somewhat limited, our minds can help us soar. "Small World":

[00:00:55] Write letters
[00:00:57] Stuck in one place
[00:00:59] I had time to dig around my roots
[00:01:02] Loosening the soil
[00:01:03] Making room
[00:01:05] To imagine
[00:01:06] Wonder, create
