Pandemic appears to have spawned teeth grinding, other dental concerns

Many dental offices scaled back and only cared for patients with dental emergencies as the coronavirus pandemic began. When dental practices resumed more routine care, some of the postponed issues had grown from minor to major. Two dental surgeons talk about the growing incidence of grinding and clenching, which has led to an increase in fractured teeth, tied to the stress of the pandemic.
