Toxicologist outlines vaping risks, including severe lung injury
Several hundred cases of e-cigarette vaping related lung injury have been reported to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from all over the United States, including nearly 50 deaths. Toxicologist Jeanna Marraffa, PharmD, assistant clinical director of the Upstate New York Poison Center, discusses the crisis and some of the theories about what is causing it in this "HealthLink on Air" segment.
