Teaching Spanish to medical students
Maria-Lourdes Fallace, MPA, teaches a medical Spanish elective to medical students, beginning in their first year. Fallace helps students become fluent with medical terms to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients, a population that is increasing demographically.
