Upstate's Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Research and Treatment Center, which works closely with the Association‘s Upstate New York Chapter, provides multidisciplinary care for people with ALS and conducts clinical trials on experimental therapies for ALS.  Upstate Medical University is one of the country's leading clinical research sites for ALS, and is currently participating in several national and international trials.
