Support Groups

All Support Groups were previously held at HealthLink Suite: 1st floor, Telergy Building, 6333 Rt 298, East Syracuse. Please refer to the details for the specific group of interest for location details as many are held virtually at this time. 

Upstate's Men to Men Prostate Cancer Support and Information Group

Upstate Men to Men Prostate Cancer Support and Information Group helps men cope with prostate cancer by offering community-based education and support for patients and their family members.

Time: Meetings are held at 5pm the last Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted.
Location: * Sessions are currently held on Online Zoom video, previously at Health Link / Oasis

Stroke Support Group

The Stroke Support Group offers education and support to patients, caregivers, family and friends affected by stroke.

Time: the third Thursday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday) 5-7 pm
Location: online Zoom meetings

Trauma Survivors Network (TSN)

A community of patients and survivors looking to connect with one another and rebuild their lives after a serious injury. The underylying goal of our resources and programs is to ensure the survivors of trauma have a stable recovery and to connect those who share similar stories. 

TSN offers free virtual Support Groups, as well as "NextSteps," a free online course to help survivors take their next steps in recovery.

Time: Support groups are held the last Wednesday of the month 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Brain Injury Support Group

The Brain Injury Support Group provides advocacy and support to families of persons living with brain injury.

Time: 1st Thursday of the Month, 5-6:30 p.m.

Pink Champions Breast Cancer Support Group

The Pink Champions Support Group focuses on providing support, advocacy, education and preventative resources to breast cancer survivors, families, and caregivers.

Time: 2nd Wednesday of the Month, 5-6:30 p.m.
