The economic and political crisis in Venezuela is straining Latin American health care systems, with shortages of food and medicine, and disease outbreaks spilling over the border. Upstate assistant professor Anna Stewart-Ibarra, PhD, and fourth-year medical student Dan Farrell talk about the spread of malaria in places where the disease had been eliminated.
