He kept sports in his life after losing a leg to cancer in high school

He's an obstacle-course endurance athlete. He climbs mountains. He coaches lacrosse. He was a Paralympic ski racer. At age 15, Dan Kosick had to have his lower right leg amputated after a cancerous tumor was discovered. Now 41, he has kept sports in his life as well as a positive attitude.
