Efforts underway to develop a vaccine for Zika virus
The presence of mosquitoes carrying the Zika virus is still prompting travel advisories, and there are a growing number of locally acquired Zika infections in the continental United States, as well as Puerto Rico, many countries in Latin America and parts of Africa and Asia. In the meantime, he urges preventive measures. For a world map and further information regarding Zika from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, click here.
